Greenwood Associates was employed to deliver the landscape for this substantial lodge style residence in The Preserve neighborhood of Jack’s Point with expansive views over the Wakatipu Basin. Our brief was to design a unique entranceway to set the tone for the property and a 20m swimming pool and landscape that blends into the existing outstanding natural environment. The pool was carved into a solid schist rock bed and featured automatic slatted covers and a separate steam room facility. Planting was restricted to locally sourced natives that would create a seamless transition to the surrounding hillside.
