UNDER CONSTRUCTION - A subdivision where residents can interact with the rural environment
Greenwood’s have been involved with the resource consent process from conception of the existing farm to an 850 lot residential development. We provided landscape assessment, landscape masterplanning and 3D modelling to satisfy consent processes with Auckland council for the sensitive rural coastal zone. The key element of our design is to incorporate rural features being open pasture and revegetated wetlands throughout the site where the new home owners can interact with the rural farm paddocks and wider estuarine ecosystems. The project has now progressed to land sales and housing construction where Greenwood Associates remain an integral part of the development through the site supervision stages. Through cohesive Iwi liaison Greenwoods have ensured all stakeholders requirements for the site have been maintained with an outcome that exceeds expectations, providing a high quality amenity for the new residents and wider community.
