We used the Hibiscus Coast and its warm temperate climate as inspiration for the planting design.
Greenwood Associates worked for Cappella Property to produce the landscape design and documentation for this 100-lot residential subdivision in Orewa, Auckland. We were required to deliver planting design and hardscape treatments for the streets, walkways, revegetation zones and wetlands, a visual assessment and an implementation and maintenance specification for the project to gain resource consent. We also supervised the planting implementation at the request of Cappella Property. We used the Hibiscus Coast and its warm temperate climate as inspiration for the planting design whilst being careful not to interrupt the stunning views some lots receive to the Orewa River and across the Hauraki Gulf.
