Redevelopment for Takanini creating a vibrant town centre.
Greenwood Associates was engaged to design the landscape at Takanini Village Center Stage 2a. The center, which now includes a Village Green, Library, Community hub and extended retail capacity was rebranded to Takanini Town Centre upon completion. The landscape was designed to create a lush, high quality environment, that complemented the architecture, where community can enjoy gathering, events and spending time. The design ties seamlessly into the existing stage and builds on opportunities that were identified to be improved in the existing stage. The fully irrigated planting consists of native and exotic species to provide texture and ensure visibility and safety throughout the car park and accessways.
