Commissioned by Jessop Architects, our task was to create a swimming pool, tennis court and pool cabana complex that complemented the architecture of the dwelling. The final design took into consideration high winds on an exposed site influencing cabana design and position of the 23m x 6m pool for maximum sunlight and wind shelter. The brief required no pool fence from the house, which we achieved by creating a false planted moat complying with the fencing regulations. The entire south side of the property is planted in 250 Fraxinus trees creating a forest to shelter the dwelling and tennis court.
